Colin Farrell shines in the trailer for The Banshees of Inisherin

That movie was freakishly weird and more than a little disturbing in a rather understated but heartfelt way.

I liked it.

I don’t know… something about the Lobster upset me, and I’m not sure what… it just left me feeling weird, which I’m usually okay with (I love weird shit), but it just didn’t click with me. Colin Farrell was great, though.

It did not make me feel warm and fuzzy or anything - it was hella bleak, really, but I appreciated how it played out.

I liked it but “enjoy” would be too strong a word.

Still, In Bruges is hilarious.

Yeah, I’m always on the lookout for a verb to replace “enjoy” for movies like The Lobster. It certainly doesn’t invoke or inspire joy, but it really touched me, stayed with me, made me think a bit, and I wanted to share it with (certain) friends.

I liked it a lot. Another one Colin Farrell was in that is similarly disturbing is “The Killing of a Sacred Deer”

I have not seen that, thanks for the gentle warning :+1:

It’s less comedic and more horror also

I’m interested because it’s a Martin McDonagh film
