I’m not in favor of it either, but I will admit reading even this short of an excerpt does make me wonder about my stance on it. I think this would be one of those cases of “I can’t be on a jury for this as I am absolutely incapable of being impartial.” I’m thankful to not be trying to decide a “fair” sentencing for such a thing.
