Why, just the other day I up-sold a grieving widow on a silk-lined, platinum-coated bronze coffin, telling her how her husband would be safer, and she could sleep better knowing she had done the right thing. Sure, it cost more than she could afford, and she really didn’t understand the options she had nor the payment plan she was getting into, and my wife said I was taking advantage of her disturbed mental state. So why was I being blamed for having someone allow me to sell them something? Doesn’t this deny the widow her responsibility? I am still trying to cope with how this works there, in the US, and other places. How responsible is one person for taking advantage of another’s fears whilst plying them with mis-information? AAIIIEEEE!!!
