Regarding multiple parties, we have to keep in mind that this alone does not guarantee a stable and robust democracy. Germany has had a historical lesson on this, and part of the solution is a minimum ballot result of 5% of the vote. Far from perfect, and a debate on its own, but also quite far from abolishing parties altogether.
