Reminds me of a short story where an Englishman is driving thru Mexico with his wife at night, sees something at the side of the road & stops his car to investigate. He grabs an object off the road & puts it in the car. A truck pulls up & a Mexican gets out who doesn’t speak English. The Mexican pulls out the torso of a mannequin & asks thru sign language if the gringo has seen something. The man shakes his head & the other man gets into his truck & drives off. The Englishman gets into his car & his wife asks him why he hadn’t shown the truck driver what he had picked up. The husband reaches into the back seat & dumps a severed leg into his wive’s lap.
