Hey, nothing in the topic description said the death had to be recent.
Sit back, have a strawberry malted and be lifted by 22 seconds of DRAMA!

Among the others I’m sorry to have missed the passing of Alan Simpson. He and Ray Galton were quite an extraordinary writing team.

I’d never heard of Alan Simpson. But I just scanned his bio and yeah; he did help ‘shape my life’ !

prolific Canadian actor Chris Wiggins, dead at 86

I knew him from the Swiss Family Robinson show and as the voice of Will Scarlett in the legendary (infamous?) “Rocket Robin Hood” animation from the 1960s.

I wouldn’t mind if someone went and changed the entry on the wikipedia list of deaths

Joseph Nicolosi, 70, American clinical psychologist, influenza complications.[9]

His article does explain that he specialised in the torture of LGBT people (there’s no fucking way I would call it reparative therapy, or therapy of any kind).
