Came to post this. Very sad. When I was first branching out from more mainstream music, Talk Talk was one of the early bands I encountered.

The Top is their most underrated album, for sure… and the Glove is a wonderful side project… What a sad week for postpunk music…

Agreed. While I really enjoyed the previous albums, The Top added needed playfulness to the mix. “I’m sad” dirges only go so far.

Ha! Back in college, a cartoonist (Walt Holcombe) had a comic in the student paper. In one strip, someone was holding a Cure record titled I’m Sad.
