When Jimmy Carter announced that he had brain cancer (now in remission) he said that it was his hope that the last guinea worm died before he did. I hope so also, but I’d like to keep Carter around as long as possible, because he’s amazing. And not just because he’s worked so hard to eradicate the guinea worm.
