Fair enough point.
I did like the point of using the axes because well the up close weapons sucked and ammo ran out fast. Also it isn’t so much as he kills Rita as Rita figures out that one of the two of them needs to die to break the loop properly.
Also I like the end with the battle has been won but the war goes on and our hero is now essentially Rita’s replacement in the fight but the knowledge of how to win is now there.
