[spoiler]Yeah, I liked both more than anything. But if I’m saying what is more cliched in a time travel story, I’m giving it to the “one must die” approach. Not that I disagree with that ending, I thought it made a poignant ending to Looper too. I can’t think of many that end with a total reset and the hero has to go back to living a normal life. It’s a bit of a high fantasy story staple (especially coming of age ones).
And I won’t fault you for liking the axes, but that was anime nonsense. At least they gave Rita a dragonslayer.
