I’m not sure how that’s relevant. Just because he achieved any measure of success doesn’t mean he didn’t have significant difficulties getting there. It’s hard for any actor to “make it,” and those who don’t fit the Hollywood ideal of beauty/marketability have an even rougher time of it. Many actors have complained about their ethnicity or physical characteristics getting them typecast to the point where every role they’re offered is essentially the same thing, over and over again.
