Dollar Tree kills $1 price limit, joining other major chains

They kept prices at a dollar for 35 years . It was a good run.

I used a few online relative value calculators to see estimated value and it looks like that $1 in 1986 would be around $2.50 today, so that’s an amazing run, really.
