Given that his “criticisms” were incoherent and largely divorced from reality, there really wasn’t anything for her to answer. She’s quite right to not entertain that nonsense (both Trump and the press providing cover by trying to turn his gibberish into coherent criticisms that demand responses) and use casual disdain to hit him right where it hurts. Trump hates being laughed at and he hates being ignored, so that needs to be the basis for all responses to him.
