It’s quite interesting since the Sun does the same thing every solar cycle. We’re right now heading into a solar minimum which some suspect might last decades or a bit over a century depending on which solar physicist you talk to. All I know is that it’s hosed HF reception in most cases for anything above 20 meter ham band from what I’ve seen on various SDRs I’ve listened to. I rarely hear intercontinental calls on the University of Twente SDR.
