I wouldn’t advise pressure washing the buildings in Ukraine or Russia. My experience is that the brick mortar is often chintzy; too much sand. I’d worry you’d end up causing the building to collapse.

Zoom in on the google map satellite image of Moscow, particularly the southern side. It’s practically all housing complexes stretching for miles.

If I had to choose whether to live in a brutalist Soviet environment or an American style bastard convolute of old-world design elements and drywall, well that wouldn’t be that hard of a choice.
