I really wish Cory had chosen another name for this very well observed and well described phenomenon. Despite being German I have no stomach for scatological language. Cory, on the other hand, seems to revel in it (cf. also craphound)

Sad day!

There is indeed something quaint now (for me at least) about the sight of seeing someone reading a magazine, and especially a newspaper (tiny as they’ve become). Maybe books on paper will follow soon (though I hope not!).
