Absolutely. My dad enlisted in the USAF in the early '50s and served again as an officer in the '60s and '70s. He went for a physical late in life and was still testing positive for antibodies for exotic tropical diseases that puzzled his GP until Dad told him he’d had vaccinations for a variety of diseases way back when.
