  1. Fascinating Horror is an interesting channel to learn about terrible disasters.

  2. Oh man, I used to talk about Apollo 1 when giving tours of Hall of Space at the Kansas Cosmosphere. We had an unflown Apollo capsule and you could see the door mechanism that was changed after the fire. (They now have the actual Apollo 13 capsule - which I have been in!)

I only recently, in the last 2 or 3 years, heard the actual radio from the event and it is horrific. :confused:

So many facepalming dangers stacked up that the engineers SHOULD have seen coming.
