I was glad to see in today’s news that, after 224 years, a woman is finally commanding the USS Constitution.. And she’s wearing the old-timey uniform, looking ready to go head-to-head with some pirates. Is the US Navy finally making strides to becoming as progressive as some pirate crews were centuries ago?
