How did these people fill up their cars? Did they push them to the station and then push them back home after filling them?

Call me silly, but I start and drive my car every single time I add gas, just to get out of the gas station.

If you make this mix-up, and you’re fortunate enough to realize your terrible mistake, do not start the engine.

Emphasis altered to highlight the problem in this case. Jalopnik’s advice is geared to the “usual” scenario where a driver accidentally uses the wrong nozzle. Not really helpful where you’re using the right pump but the supplier has messed up.
