Eh…a lot of people still don’t wear seatbelts, and, as I said above, Florida is one of the states where you can be pulled over just for a seatbelt violation. Sure, the police probably looked at the car and the drivers and decided based on appearances that there was a better than average chance they would find something, and they probably wouldn’t have pulled over someone in a brand new Mercedes, but…I would bet the driver really wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
