Food magazine editor resigns after joking about "killing vegans, one by one"

Some of the reasons which I haven’t seen mentioned yet (nearly 200 replies, so I could have missed it):

  • To be able to continue to make favorite family recipes;

  • To make it easier for one’s kids to have friends over and not serve “weird” food (particularly helpful in the early years);

  • To blend in, in group social situations where one doesn’t want to stand out…“what are you, vegan?” at the company cookout;

  • To be able to try pretty much any recipe that looks interesting.
