Maybe they could put the truck inside of some sort of shelter. Like with walls and a roof and a door for people to enter and exit, but that the seagulls couldn’t open because they’re seagulls. What could you call this type of food truck? How about “Restaurant”!
In all seriousness, I think the proprietor is being really generous to replace everyone’s food if a seagull steals it, but maybe he should just rethink that policy. This is sort of a known hazard of eating outside in coastal areas.
