But yeah, it was kind of nice, sometimes… if you squinted real hard. And weren’t black. Or a woman. Or a Jew. Or a muslim. Or sometimes, in certain places Catholic. Or Mormon until the 1890s. Or poor. Well… we had the best pop culture! Comic books, rock and roll, and Hollywood!
