Games and other online communities are societies, owed a duty of care by their owners

Imma talk about FOnline: Reloaded, as it was a fan-made mmo I played. It’s ran by a Polish guy (Kilgore) and is home to The Khans - a clan of skinheads who have dedicated their life to the worser bad. That’s their slogan: for the worser bad.

Well, these guys have occupies the game for years and driven a lot of people out by bullying them outside the game. We’re talking doxxing, harassing calls, the whole caboodle. They remain unbanned.

Meanwhile, I was banned for calking then out on their shit.

Reloaded had a bit of an in game shakeup. Normally, stealing characters and virtual gear is OK. It’s only bannable when it was the sysadmin’s pet who it was done to - who bad previously done the same thing to others.

Fuck Reloaded and fuck Kilgore. Fortunately there are better servers to play on where the admins are active and uphold the rules - fonline2 and fonline: ashes of Phoenix. Highly recommend those two.
