Germany's top domestic spy advised far right xenophobic political party on how to avoid being billed as "extremists"

This is not a new or temporary tendency. West german intelligence was recruited and founded -mostly- by the allies during the dawn of the cold war. The NATO wanted an anti-communist secret service in a frontier country - and who could be a better candidate for that purpose than the many former national socialist “intelligence professionals” (say: Gestapo and Reichshauptamt Sicherheit scum) who were available and more than willing to work in their old jobs again? So “Organisation Gehlen” was founded with its’ staff consisting from close to 100% ex-nazis, split into foreign (BND) and domestic (Verfassungsschutz) authorities and has been operating unchanged and unquestioned since. Nothing good has ever come from there.
