Commonly believed to be based on Shawarma brought by Lebanese immigrants to Mexico but with pork. Like everything else, we put it on a tortilla.
Most commonly known as tacos al pastor outside of Mexico, in Mexico there are a lot of different names all with their own regional variations including: Tacos de adobada, de trompo and tacos árabes (literally arab tacos).
