Knowing what virus you have is really nice - and a pretty modern improvement. But we can all do the right thing even without knowing - if you have a cough, a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc - self isolate as best you can and do what you can to avoid spreading the illness - stay home from work, don’t cough on the vegetable display at the grocery, take a school sick day. These are the lessons we should have learned from Covid; but as a society we appear not to have learned.
