I mean, looking at the demographic polling info from this cycle misogyny is still the biggest impediment. I don’t think there’s a scenario where she would have won… but she should have.
And this is the thing that still sticks in my craw, but let’s be honest; she was a surrogate for her husband’s candidacy. The older I get the more angry I get about how much he conceded to the hateful right. An unfettered Hilary would have been much different.
I agree, it’s a pointless thought experiment, but it’s always bothered me how uncomfortable I feel about her, even though I have plenty of grievances (Iraq war vote, primarily), but in a different world, her trajectory would have been much, much different.
