I’m pretty sure Darryl’s accent is his real accent, given that he speaks the same way in Blade 2 from almost 20 years ago (and which I was watching two days ago).
I’m just glad that Rick doesn’t sound like he’s from London. Of course, he and the Governor both went to the same acting school in England and knew each other there.
