I can’t tell you the number of times people have gotten DNA testing done and then state that because the scientific results don’t agree with some family lore, it’s the DNA that’s wrong.

Nevertheless I see many problems with false positives and negatives, and assumptions made about correlations of genes with diseases that are later proven wrong.
