For me the take-away is that this confirms my view that it’s always a minor miracle when something really comes together and becomes something special. Most art that is a collaboration between large numbers of people is extremely haphazard and no one can predict when it’s really going to fire on all cylinders and have a magic spark. Because most of the time it doesn’t, because some writer or executive or actor or somebody wasn’t quite having their best day or happened to make a non-excellent decision about something.
