Bear in mind the exchange that led up to my statement, notably that I feel the way I do in part because of what Trump has brought to the table. I agree with every single thing you say about HRC. But looking at where we are now and looking ahead to 2020, I can’t see Joe Biden beating Trump. I know the primaries are long way off, but right now he leads the Democratic field by a country mile and I deeply believe that he cannot win. Trump will get a second term and the Supreme Court will be totally out of reach for at least a generation (I don’t see Ginsburg and Breyer lasting another administration).
