My best friend works at Missouri Town, although I haven’t visited yet myself. The official story, as far as I know, and according to Wikipedia, is that it was named after Dr. Lea. Considering there is a Pleasant Lea Lake, and Pleasant Lea Elementary School, I think it’s more than plausible. It’s mostly the Confederate sympathizers who’ve believed it was named after General Lee.
