I will have to look into it more then. Note I think Wiki is a good base source, but it isn’t definitive. IIRC the Gen Lee connection was on the city’s official site. But again, this was 12+ years ago. While MO didn’t join the Confederacy it was a slave state, and given that there are Confederate Memorials all the way out to the West Coast, naming a town in the General’s honor is also plausible.
