You’re mixing up two different things. Super-injunctions are supposed to protect against publication of damaging truths, whereas libel laws and related injunctions are supposed to protect against publication of damaging lies. (Of course libel cases are sometimes abused to suppress the truth, but that should be less of a threat since the reform in England and Wales.)
