Don’t address Icelanders by their [patronym] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icelandic_name#Cultural_ramifications_.E2.80.93_how_to_address_people) . “Birgitta Jónsdóttir” or just “Birgitta”, but just “Jónsdóttir” should be avoided.
