We have very much focused on simplifying taxes. That’s what we lobbied for: simplify the tax code. That’s simply what we’ve lobbied for.
It’s ridiculous how much of a lie this is, they’ve repeated it in the past and have never provided any evidence of it. It seems that “pay Intuit to do all the work so the government doesn’t have to make it easier” is what they considering “simplifying”
