Nick was quite popular in the west though. Like Saddam Hussein. And Assad. And Mubaraks. And Marcos. And… oh fuck it fully half of the crazy fuck dictators the world has seen. Probably more really as the regimes that tend to survive in the world are the ones th US is happy with.
