Ooo. You are probably right. I stand corrected. It wasn’t Racter because Racter wasn’t out yet. I can’t remember what it was. I think the command was something boring like ‘chat’. But it did ‘learn’ and reproduce bits of your text for other people. This was the Cambridge Computer Science Dept, about 1976-ish.
