SECOND THOUGHT: he sat down to talk to the woman because he knows that SHE’S the one who’s really in charge. she’s the one that runs the show. that’s even BETTER.

That was my only thought. It’s actually a form of sexism, but employed so seldom that it’s a welcome change from the usual negative variety.
