There’s so much to unpack here.
He’s the Chief of Staff to the most powerful person on Earth, and he doesn’t use email. Might that significantly impede his ability to serve the most powerful person on Earth? What if more and more of his peers and staff follow his lead? Isn’t relying on word of mouth like Donnie Brasco something we’d want to avoid if we wanted a functioning government?
He’s so scared of records, of FOIA? Why? What is he doing, as a implementer of government policy, that must not see the light of day? (Nothing secret/classified can be released, so national security cannot be the consideration here.) It must be that, like Pruitt, he doesn’t want his political opponents knowing what he’s doing or planning to do, the better to advance his policies.
Well, but, by definition that portion of the American public who aren’t his political enemies won’t object to his policies. His political friends don’t want him to be “held accountable” either.
