Judenstaat: an alternate history in which a Jewish state is created in east Germany in 1948

This fact makes it all the more ironic when non Arabs try to advocate for an Arab state where even the Arabs don’t do so. In the end both the non Arabs and Arabs have common interest of a Judenrein Middle East.

One of Britain’s last great "fuck you"s to their subjects as the empire collapsed.

I always though of Australia. Or wherever land is plentiful, cheap and, you know, uncontested.

Well then. Is there any place where a whole country can be built on without fucking people over? Pripyat? Under the sea? The moon?

I’m guessing most livable parts of the planet have sprouted humans already. We’re like some clever, hardy weed that way.

That is the problem with diasporic ethnic populations (Jews, Rromani, etc); they can’t “go back home” because there are people there that they’d displace, but they can’t stay abroad either, because the xenophobic locals will always view them as Other, no matter how assimilated they are.

I believe that might be nowhere.

Maybe get rid of borders altogether, allow everyone to travel freely, and make states compete for citizens?

All right, @William_Holz; why are you posting from @anon61221983’s account?

Yeah, I was about to post something along those lines. It’s been great reading all of you here. I’ve learned quite a lot.

I’d like to learn more.

Could some of you guys participating in the discussion recommend some reading material? It’d be greatly appreciated.

Antarctica. It’s the only piece of land on the planet that has never been stolen from anyone.

Although you could argue that the environmental impact of settling there would fuck everyone over.

Also you could probably talk Mongolia into giving up some of the steppes. like 90% of the population lives in Ulaanbatar anyway.
