ETA: I’m surprised he didn’t get into Steinbrenner’s notorious aversion to facial hair on players, nor Rollie Fingers’ reply to the Reds’ moustache policy: “Well, you tell Marge Schott to shave her Saint Bernard, and I’ll shave my moustache.”
