When I was a kid, BBC2 ran a series of classic Sci-Fi movies at 6pm (I think every weeknight), so I’d watch them after tea. Colussus was one of them, and I thought it was excellent (and impressively bleak). Others I can remember were The Forbidden Planet and When Worlds Collide, and I think The Day the Earth Caught Fire.
