Actually , my initial point of view wasn’t empiric. I mean: what do I know? I’m relying on the same information as anyone else and I can’t have a beer with the wheather reporter to dig up her exact feelings on the issue and the whole job situation she’s in. I usually listen to all sides, a habit transmitted by my grandfather who was a righteous lawyer. When a case is not clear, someone has to raise the question whether we’re really sure we don’t have the wrong end of the stick. That’s usually what I do, for good or for worse.
