So much of this wrath seems to be based on people angry that the doctors and nurses “get to” go to work and they don’t. I have wonder how much of this is really about hurt egos on the part of people who have been forced to confront just how “non-essential” their jobs really are in the grand scheme of things.
No, we don’t need hairdressers and auto detailers and advertising executives and retail cashiers as much as we need nurses and farm workers and delivery drivers right now. Sorry you feel unappreciated. Get the fuck over it.
