I have had musical opinion affected by other people’s opinion if I know and respect that person’s opinion in the first place. Although usually it makes me relisten to something and appreciate it more. I rarely if ever have been affected negatively by someone’s opinion. Though I might admit that, “Yeah, it is poppy trash - but I still like it.”
