I’m not really sure about that. There are plenty of jobs - it didn’t take long for me to find one when I was in grad school - but even “well paying” is a relative term out there.
This seems like a self-solving problem. Build high rises. Let the NIMBY absolutists who don’t like them leave. Now there’s even more available housing. Magic!
Right. But I mean doing it blatantly and openly. Begin calling it what it is; no longer paying prisoners a pittance, never releasing them from servitude, gathering them off the streets for the crime of being poor. That kind of “bringing back”.
