An interesting fact about this late tropical monarch is that he traveled through the Middle East in the 19th century and impressed the inhabitants of Lebanon so much that many decided to live in Brazil. Today the number of Lebanese descendants in the country is greater than the number of inhabitants in the country of the Levant. In some Lebanese cities it is possible to see signs with words in Portuguese and even find typical foods from the tropical country.
